Account Executive

Daze-Media is a one-of-a-kind network of independent publishers, each powering its own distinct culture. We’re seeking an Account Executive to help grow revenue and build meaningful brand partnerships across the network.

The ideal candidate is skilled at balancing a portfolio of publishers and audience personas, identifying business opportunities, negotiating deals, and educating clients on how to achieve their goals through high-impact solutions, including video, branded content, newsletters, sponsorships and experiential.

This role requires a consultative sales approach to win new business, grow revenue, and build long-term client relationships while guiding partners through the full sales process. The Account Executive will personally manage a book of business, own quarterly revenue and bi-weekly activity goals, resolve account issues, and ensure consistent execution of sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, closing, and renewing.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships at all levels, with a focus on brand marketers and agency decision-makers.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets as defined in the sales plan.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and regular reporting on sales activity and pipeline.
  • Identify new strategic clients, advertisers, and partnership opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies to win them.
  • Build and expand profitable relationships with existing clients to maximize account growth.
  • Contribute to a high-activity, high-accountability sales culture.
  • Collaborate closely with ad ops, client success, and publisher teams to ensure client satisfaction and campaign performance.

Qualificaations

  • 3–5+ years of experience selling digital advertising, social, or branded content at a digital media company.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals in a competitive environment.
  • Established client relationships and access to brand and agency decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to clients.
  • Resourceful, tenacious seller who doesn’t take “no” for an answer and can independently develop materials to close deals.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing CRM pipelines and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, growth-stage environment.

Compensation:

The role begins with a 150-day uncapped, commission-only ramp-up period designed to reward early wins and accelerate earnings potential. Upon successful performance, you’ll transition to a competitive base + commission structure aligned with your experience, track record, and results.
